We finally put up our Christmas tree today. I usually do it a little sooner but this year I decided two weeks of constantly re-hanging ornaments would be enough!
My son already suggested it needed to be redone because it didn't "match".
It's an artificial one, about 4 foot tall. I would love to have a real one, but my cats chew on them. I put it up on a table in the corner of our living room.
These are some of my favorite ornaments:
I have always loved Annalee Dolls!
Two of these little elves are sitting in the tree.
When I was a young girl, my parents gave me a little Annalee mouse.
It was while making clothes for my little mouse, that I first started working with felt.
This one is a paper mache fat cat dressed as Santa and carrying a sack of toys.
I also have a lot of these little apples all over the tree.
This is a Hallmark ornament of a reindeer that I thought had exceptional detail for it's size.
Also because of the cats, I don't use tinsel. Those sparkly spots you see are cellophane puffs I made to use instead. They really help catch the light.
You won't believe how many photos I took just to get these few that were ok. They are still a little blurry, but you can get the idea of what our tree looks like.

Looks great! I love the cat and apple ornament!
I think you have the exact same tree as I have. I haven't decided whether to put it up this year or not.
We've redone ours a few times too! Yours is so adorable and I love that cat ornament!
Drowsey: Oh, you should put it up. I felt more in the spirit after we did.

Love your ornaments! I don't know if I'm doing a tree this year; everything kinda snuck up on me...
We have three cats, so I know about adjusting life (and Christmas trees) because of the cats. Your tree is great!
