One of the things my son received for his recent birthday was
The Original Colorforms Set.
I remember having play sets of different stories when I was a child.
This set is great, it's just a book of 350 peel off shapes in different colors and sizes. He has been having a great time creating his own pictures or just matching up shapes in groups.
This is his latest picture:
Some of the pieces are very small though and they tend to get lost on the floor. I have to be very careful about finding them all, so the cats don't swallow them (I have one cat that likes to chew on plastic).
If you have a child who loves shapes and colors, this is the toy for them. Best of all, no batteries!

Colorforms are so much fun! I remember playing with them when I was a kid too. What is the age recommendation for colorforms? Thank you for sharing this information!
Cascia: Thanks for visiting! The age is listed as 3yrs and up.
I think colorforms are great..My girls had dolls and they use to dress them..Hey, did you ever try felt on a felt board?..cut out all kinds of pieces and make your own..kind of fun..
