Well, it's official, my sweet little boy who said "please" and "thank you" and gave me hugs just for showing up, has morphed into an alien from the planet Ego. I am stunned at how quickly this has happened. I never saw it coming.
Myself, like most of the 1st time mothers out there, felt a little proud with the fact that my son did not do all the terrible things the experts warned us about. He ate well, slept well, didn't bite, didn't hit and never picked up the cat by her tail!
Fast forward.... now he is 3 1/2.
I just experienced my 1st full-blown public temper tantrum, screaming, wailing and throwing himself on the ground. I had to forcibly pick him up and carry him to the car.
I am drained, sad and guilty. He is napping.
It has been a week of multiple personalities. I have been visited by "the 40 year old used car salesman", the " whining, condescending diva", "Attila the preschooler" and my personal favorite " it's my party and I'll cry if I want to".
Who knows what visitors are yet to come?

Oh...children! Who knows what to expect from them? Am so sorry to read about the temper fit. Your little boy's growing up! Do continue to shower him with all your love and attention though (and discipline!) I know he will thank you when he grows up.
Thanks for the kind words, you have some unique items in your shop!
