To all the Florida home schooling parents out there, Governor Crist has proclaimed March 31 through April 5 2008, as Florida Home Educators week.
The state of Florida has allowed home schooling since 1985 and in his proclamation this week he states some very compelling reasons why.
As a mom who has been following the news out of California concerning parent's rights to educate their own, I am pleased to read that our governor backs us up 100%!

Also the Florida Department of Education has all the legal in's and out's you will need.
So this week celebrate the freedom you have to choose what is best for your family and reward yourself for having the conviction to make it work!
