Last night I went out to see the moon disappear, I thought. I stood there looking up at the clouds and stars, waiting. The moon turned to a shadowy orange ball but was not hidden as I thought would happen. Instead it continued to glow and light the night sky. It could not be extinguished or muted. I am pleased.
