Send Me Home

I know this isn't your typical Wordless Wednesday photo!
This is a taxidermied arctic wolf that was donated to The Oxbow Eco-Center and is in need of a new home. He doesn't really belong in a Florida exhibit but the staff said they inherited him. They would love to send him home to Alaska if a center or university there was interested.
It appears to be a very old wolf and I think he deserves to go home!

I hope he finds a home soon. It would be a wonderful way to honor his life. I hope you'll keep us updated on this story.

I've posted my Wordless Wednesday contribution here, and hope you'll be able to drop by and say hi:

Hi Nodin,
I really hope he gets a good home too but I am sure someone will make an offer and thank you for being so considerate and posting it on your website. Your blog is great and well done :)

you should talk to the airport in anchorage - they have a LOT of animals stuffed in there...i think he would fit quite nicely.

Awww it's so nice of you to help him to find a proper home. I'm sure there are lots of places who would be happy to take him in.

Thanks guys, I did email an old friend at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks about it. I let you know if I find out anything.
